春分，是二十四节气中的第四个节气。

这一天，太阳直射赤道，

全球昼夜几乎等长，各约12小时。

春分之后，北半球昼渐长、夜渐短，气温回升，万物蓬勃生长。

Spring Equinox is the 4th solar term of the year.

On this day, the sun shines directly on the equator,making day and night almost equal — about 12 hours each worldwide.

Afterwards, days grow longer and nights shorter in the Northern Hemisphere,

with temperatures rising and all life thriving.

立蛋｜Egg Balancing

“春分到，蛋儿俏”。

人们相信春分这天阴阳平衡，最容易将鸡蛋直立，

这一趣味习俗，寄托着平安顺遂的美好祈愿。

An old saying goes: “Eggs stand tall as Spring Equinox calls.”

It’s believed the balanced yin and yang makes it easiest to stand an egg upright.

This fun tradition carries wishes for peace and good luck.
