The third Shaanxi-Taiwan cultural exchange week and cross-Strait youth culture summer camp kicked off in Xi'an on July 8.
The event will run through October. It is the largest, highest-level, and most comprehensive cross-Strait exchange campaign ever hosted by Shaanxi province. It features more than 40 distinctive exchange programs covering science and technology, education, sports, and culture. It is expected to attract over 5,000 representatives from across the Taiwan Strait.

Following the event's opening ceremony, the participants visited the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) exhibition area at the Qujiang branch of Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Center. They got an up-close experience of representative ICH items, including dough figurines, traditional Chinese medicine, and puppet shows. They also appreciated the profound essence of fine traditional Chinese culture.
Centering on exchanges between young people across the Taiwan Strait, the event has built a platform covering diverse fields, including education, academia, sports, and tourism.
Through immersive exchanges and interactions, it aims to further strengthen emotional bonds among young people from both sides, contributing to the integrated development between Shaanxi and Taiwan.
