Since the onset of summer, Europe has been hit by persistent extreme heatwaves, with residents seeing a skyrocketing demand for heat‑prevention and cooling supplies, resulting in a widening supply‑demand gap in the local market.

The China Railway Express (Xi'an) has acted as a timely solution to ease the supply‑demand imbalance in the European market with its core strengths of fast delivery, cost‑effectiveness, and high reliability.

As of Aug 24, it has shipped more than 34,000 cooling home appliances, including air conditioners and electric fans, to 15 European countries this year, effectively filling gaps in local markets. Chinese‑brand cooling home appliances are now available in supermarkets across Germany, France, Italy, and other countries, becoming best-sellers favored by local consumers.

Through its sound logistics support system, Xi'an has continued to improve the transport efficiency of China-Europe trade, operating three full-timetable routes that regularly link Xi'an with Duisburg, Prague, and Budapest, reaching key cities across Europe.

In 2025, the China Railway Express (Xi'an) made 6,037 trips, a year‑on‑year increase of 21.1 percent, with its core indicators ranking first nationwide for eight consecutive years. A total of 3,310 trains were operated in the first half of 2026, rising 8.3 percent year‑on‑year.

With continuous improvements and upgrades in transport efficiency, service systems, and intermodal transport models, the China Railway Express (Xi'an) will further spur trade momentum and inject robust impetus into the high‑quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
