Xi'an rolled out immersive activities rooted in its unique cultural features during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from Sept 25 to 27, emerging as a top destination for tourists.

Huaqing Palace created an ancient Mid-Autumn experience inspired by Tang Dynasty (618–907) court rituals, allowing visitors to join fun garden parties, win free admission by answering Tang poetry quizzes, and enjoy free-ticket offers by reciting The Song of Everlasting Sorrow. Tang-style performances and ancient-costume parades filled the grounds with a strong festive ambiance.

Bailuyuan Scenic Area created harvest scenes with corn, chili peppers, and assorted grains, blending rustic charm with poetic Mid-Autumn vibes to deliver a genuine, lively atmosphere of family reunion.

Xi'an Romance Park held immersive night tours, featuring eye-catching performances such as fish lantern parades, intangible cultural heritage fire shows, and interactive processions with historical figures, immersing visitors in an ancient Chang'an where tradition meets modernity.

Nationwide bookings for night tours during the Mid-Autumn Festival tripled year-on-year, with Xi'an's Chinese-style evening tours becoming a national benchmark for "Chinese romance".
